[Standard Release] "Water-based Coated Paper Cups (including Water-based Coated Paper Cups)" Group Standard was officially released

On 29 December 2021, the Group Standard T/CPA 001-2021 "Water-based Coated Paper Cups (including Water-based Coated Paper Cups)", drafted by Hetrun, was officially approved by the China Paper Association for release and implementation. This standard is the first standard for water-based coated paper products in China, and for the first time stipulates the recyclability of water-based coated paper products, filling a gap in the industry.

Water-based coated paper products are innovative products that have emerged in recent years to replace plastic with paper. Compared to traditional laminated paper products, water-based coated paper products have the advantage of being recyclable and re-pulpable, which is of great significance in terms of energy saving, carbon reduction and environmental pollution. In the future, the Group Standard on "Water-based Coated Paper Cups (including Water-based Coated Paper Cups)" will play a leading role in promoting the development of the industry, regulating enterprises' production, improving product quality and helping to regulate the industry.
